What is a mechanical buzzer

What is a mechanical buzzer?  The mechanical buzzer is a special sub-category of the electromagnetic buzzer, which consists of an oscillator, an electromagnetic coil, a magnet, a casing and etc.      Unlike ordinary electromagnetic buzzers, the vibrating piece of the mechanical buzzer is mounted on the outer casing, and its frequency is generally low, around 0.5 kHz. The general electromagnetic buzzer is around 2 kHz.      What is the pronunciation principle of mechanical buzzer?      After the power is turned on (as small as 1.2VDC/1.5VDC/3.0VDC, up to 110VAC/220VAC), the audio signal current generated by the oscillator passes through the electromagnetic coil, causing the electromagnetic coil to generate a magnetic field. Under the interaction of the electromagnetic coil and the magnet, the diaphragm on the outer casing is periodically bridged to emit sound.      The mechanical buzzer is mainly suitable for electric products (boiled eggs, soya-bean milk makers, etc.) to make the warning sounding of electronic products; it is also used for the main components on the repeller. Because it not only emits a frequency of 0.5 kHz but also the entire buzzer […]

What is Active Piezo Buzzer

The active piezo buzzer is an integrated electronic sounder that is powered by DC voltage and is widely used in electronic products such as computers, printers, copiers, alarms, electronic toys, automotive electronics, telephones, timers, etc. Sounding device. The buzzer is mainly divided into two types: piezo buzzer and magnetic buzzer. The piezoelectric buzzer is mainly composed of a multivibrator, a piezoelectric buzzer, an impedance matching device, a resonance box, an outer casing and the like. Some piezoelectric buzzer housings are also equipped with light-emitting diodes.  1.Active Piezo Buzzer SPECIFICATION Sound pressure Level 90dB Min/10cm Rated Voltage VDC 12V Resonant Frequency 3.5±0.5kHz Current at rated Voltage 15.0mA Max. Related issues about buzzer voltage

Active Buzzer If it is an active buzzer, that is, a buzzer with a drive circuit inside, the voltage used is the DC power supply. For example, the common type MSPS23A35P12 is directly driven by a 12VDC voltage. Passive Buzzer If it is a passive buzzer, that is, an externally driven buzzer, the voltage used is the ac pulse signal. For example, the common type MSPT14A is driven by a pulse signal to make it sound.   For passive buzzers, the symbols representing voltages are: Vp-p and Vo-p, Vp-p is the peak-to-peak voltage, and Vo-p is the peak voltage. Vp-p (peak-to-peak) is the maximum voltage value minus the minimum voltage value (both values are vector values) Vp-p=2Vo-p
